To be fair though, part of that high price has to do with the exchange rate. The car is built by German tuning company Geigercars. In Europe the ZL1 on which this car is based is already a whopping 68,000 Euros ($93,724). Their conversion will run you an additional 138,100 Euros ($190,343). For all that cash, you're getting a pretty unique package. Well. You're getting a fast one at least.
Gieger has squeezed 780 horsepower and 725 lb-ft of torque from the LS9 as well as building up the internals. They say it's top speed is 210 miles per hour and that it'l get to 62 in 3.7 seconds. Sound worth it yet?
The put on a body kit (which doesn't looks too bad actually) and gave the suspension a complete overhaul. KW racing coil-overs, racing stabilizers, and a stiffened rear axle are included too. Clearly, this is a car that should be driven on a track. Or maybe the autobahn. They probably intended it for both. I still don't think this would be worth the hassle. Even in Europe.
I put up a bunch more pictures on the LS1Tech blog here. Check it out.

Yeah, it's cool but how much gets to be too much?? Will there really be that many customers? I mean you can buy a 2013 Porsche 911 turbo for about $150,000 - $160,000 and still have another $90,000 - $100,000 left over to buy a regular 2013 911 or well optioned 2013 Corvette Z06.

I would never spend 250k on a already modified car. I wouldnt spend it on a ferrari either though. It would go into a zr1 or a zl1/z06 or T/A you get the point. I can have a sicker car in my opinion than a ferrari with that money.

I think the barcode looks obnoxious, hopefully they can be ordered without one. But I would never spend $250k on a car, let alone a modified Camaro, or a Ferrari. Most of the fun in cars for me is building them. I would never pay someone else to do it.

What a price gouge. First the ZL1 is like 55k not 91k and 190k in after market mods? in what life time would anyone pay that crap. I'd be wiling to be that car could be duplicated for less than 100k by a US company.

Well i can tell you that the base model camaros used to start at 40-45k over there. Is the price for this built camaro crazy as ****....hell yea, but there are so many factors that go into this price. The camaro being a not very often seen car over there, makes it an item to have.
