All I can think of whoever had the car used lower grade gas and drove it like if they pushed the gas pedal too hard they might break something, Today I replaced the cam with the hot cam, Cam bearings looked great the old cam looked great except 1 lobe had a line on it, installed the BTR beehive springs on the heads. Did the trunion upgrade used the Comp Cams Definitely a difference between the BTR and Comp If you are going to do it go BTR.

I finally got the time to swap the motor in the Camaro, I used the vette motor I had. Some minor changes to the motor Long tubes, cam 243 Zo6 heads, monster clutch, Tick clutch master, lifters, BTR springs almost done

Default On the road

Finally Got it on the road, I had Frost do mail order tune on it, Changed the wheels to something that better suits the car, Working out minor issues.

This is my plan, Hawaii has safety checks on cars, If you do too many mods then you have to get a Recon permit. So after I get my safety check I plan on some lowering springs other than that fun ride.
