Hey guys
So my buddy is going to Korea and staying over seas, so he offered me his 98 WS6 its rough. He got it given to him from a friend and is letting me have it for 1500.00 piston hit a spark plug, so it does not run. Valve cover was left off and water ran threw the split in weather stripping and got in block, he drained it and never ran it with water. thinking of Selling my 96 T/A to buy a New LS1 to throw in it, his car has 140k on it 6 speed. What is everyone's opinions?

If you have the money and the time then I'd go for it. I'd take a list of things that need to be replaced or fixed, then take a tally on how much you'll have in it first though before I made my final decision.
It looks like front end damage on the front bumper cover, drivers side? Did that cause the hood to not fit up on the top passenger side? I saw the cracked winshield and no dash pad, what else is broken or missing on the car? How does the interior look?
I still think that you can get it running and fix the things that need fixed on it for cheaper than you can buy one with that mileage as long as there isn't a lot of work to do on it. Looks like a fun project car

cool, im going threw title issues with my 96 guy said it was clean, took in to DMV and it was salvaged in 2001. This guy was a body man and did the work I paid 3500.00 and it had 69k miles ill probably sell it and use those funds for this WS6. interior isnt bad, i still have to ask him what the deal with the hood is.

the t56 setup is worth what your paying for the car , no brainer between the wheels , the hood , the spoiler just at a quick glance never mind parting out the damaged engine but keep the front accessories and intake to put on a junkyard 5.3/6.0 if you go that route....
