98 to 02 pcm swap fuel gauge not working (reads full)
I have searched and found out that I need to add a wire somehow. The segment swap is on it, the tune is completed, but I still have this issue that the gauge reads full. The float works fine also. Please someone tell me what I need to do wire wise to get this working?

Who did the fuel segment swap for you? I'd contact them, and ask? I've got a '98 and considered this myself, have heard of nightmares from some, others don't seem to have any problem. I was going to order the 0411 swap kit from MRK Motorsports. They may be able to help you?
How much time have you spent on the project so far? Any other problems other than the fuel gauge?

None of those help I have them all bookmarked. The segment swap is already done and wiring. I am missing apparently one wire somewhere but no one knows what the actual wire is to where, everyone is just "I did it a while ago and I think it's this or that"

If your using the '98 harness, I doubt your missing a wire. You had the segment swap done which I would expect is add the 2002 express van segment. From what I have been reading then this data in the table from this segment swap, needs to be manipulated to get the gauge to read correctly, one has the frequency go up as the fuel goes down and the other has the frequency go down as the fuel goes down. So it is not just the segment swap, but also the tune needs to be done to calibrate the gauge. I read if you have not done this portion of the tune the gauge just reads full all the time. I expect this may be the case because this is your problem.

When you said swapped pumps did you install a new pump in your old pump assembly or had a whole new assembly installed. Just thinking it may be those small wires that connect to the float arm portion of the pump assembly or even the float arm contacts may be bad. I was having problems with my fuel gauge when I installed a new pump into my assembly. I ended up buying a new pump through WS6store and now it's working. I hear ya on the Vette lol!
