t-top maintenance
After owning only hard top f-body's over the years, i have my first t-top car. Currently the seals are great, can go through a high pressure car wash with no leaks and would like to keep them that way. Looking to see what is needed to keep the seals water tight on both the t-top and the body side. Is there any products that you like to use or have used in the past to keep the weather stripping in good condition?

I have always used 303 Aerospace Protectant on mine with great results.
If you frequently drive in full daytime sun with the tops off, I'd make it a point to reapply the product every month or so during the summer for maximum UV protection.

Haha, mine is almost always in storage. I apply it once per year during the spring cleaning on my garage queen '98 and it's kept the rubber perfect, but that car only gets driven about 400 miles per year.
My '02 used to be a daily driver, so I had the tops off all the time during the summer. I applied it about once per month on that one. The rubber was still like new in 2014 when I sold it.

I can't remember what the spray is called, but I've always used a silicone based spray. I usually hose down the seals 2-3 times a year, but I rarely drive my car anymore, let alone take out the tops (blasphemy, I know).
The main focus is to find a lubricant spray that will keep the seals from drying out. I completely agree with the intervals that RPM listed above (monthly if driven often, 1-2 times per year if it sits a lot).

My T-tops dont leak, Never applied anything to the seals around the roof either, well .....maybe years ago
Only part of my car that leaks in a drive thru car wash is the top of the window doesn't seat right against the lip.
Easy resolution......just wash my car by hand.
