Hey guys,
Have you heard any rumors of GMPP raising the price of their crate engines beginning in January 2018? Planning on dropping a LS3/525 in my 1967 Camaro, but have been lurking for BF/Xmas deals (no dice so far, Jegs/Summit etc all the same price). Anyway, if they are going to increase prices, I might as well buy now. Just wanted to see if any of you "connected" guys had heard anything about a price increase.
Thanks,
John

Texas Speed? Seems like their LS3 deals are pretty reasonable. I’ve heard good things about them, actually sent them an email yesterday to enquire about their 590 HP LS3. The car is going to be mainly street/cruiser, am not planning much track. Wonder if the 590HP will make it not very streetable.

I have not seen anything on increases - but I did get a email from GM that part # 19329246 (LS7), 19260835 (LSX454R) & 19260165 (LS9) are all taking a pretty good price cut. With the info in the e-mail it sounds like those may be going away.

I know GMPP was giving a $250 mail-in rebate on the LS3s, I think they were offering $500 or$750 on the LS7s and LS9s. From perusing the aftermarket guys (Texas Speed, Lingenfelter, Mast, etc), Texas Speed has the best deal that I’ve seen.

Thompson Motorsports is discounting engines here on the forums, they make great stuff.

Qweedqwag, Thank you for the plug! We do have great options, We do not list many of them because we are so open to building what you want rather than a package that is close to what you are looking for.
OP, If you give us a call at your convenience I am sure we can get you set up with something great!
