Default Who daily drives an FBody with kids?

Do any of you guys daily drive your fbody with kids ages 2-8? Is it a hassle... I've driven a 5th gen Camaro with kids but I would imagine f bodys have less room in the back?

Chime in...

My son is 11 so he sits in the front. He did sit in the back up until age 10. His car seat did also fit in the back.

I do. I have two that sit in the back. Not really a big deal. Space is only a concern if both front passengers are six feet tall lol

I daily drove with my ta for 4 years and had my son in the back since he was 3, car seat and all. He still loves it. Once he started buckling himself in, it got a lot easier.

If you drive a F-body with kids in the back, just make sure your true duals dump at the axles.

I bought my current F-body car in Sept '98, daughter born March '99. Put the car seat in the rear passenger side, rarely had anyone in front of her and rarely needed to take it out. Once I got used to the technique to get her in and out of the seat, it was a breeze. Of course I was more flexible 20 years ago

All I know it’s there is a ton more room in a 4th gen vs a 6th gen camaro. My 2 daughter 8/9 both ride with me with no issues.

Gets some strange looks in parking lots, but with the baby car seats that snap into the base it's waaaay easier to snap them in through the hatch than the door.

This is one of the major reasons I have a GTO vice an Fbody........

I looked at a few and it would be way to uncomfortable for a kid to be squeezing in there daily.

My 8 and 10 year olds ride with me. I daily drive the car in the summer but they only drive with me on the weekends. They love the car and rarely complain about getting in and out. I can see the size of the rear seats bearing a problem when they get a bit bigger maybe.
