Default Need picture of tether mount (child seat), 2000-2002

I have a 99 trans am and found out I don't have the tether mount welded in the upper trunk area. I was wondering if someone with a 2000+ car could lift up the carpet and get a picture of the mount? If you could get a tape measure on it to get a few measurements for me, that would help me fabricate a replica.

Thanks!

They don't weld in, they bolt in. And they're only $15 so why reinvent the wheel?

So, I have the $15 mount but there's nothing for it to bolt into since the LATCH system started in model year 2000 and I have a 1999. I'd like to see what provisions GM made for the bolting this in so I can do the same thing.

You have to drill your own holes for older models.

The picture which comes with the bracket makes it look like there is a mount on 2000+ models that this bolts onto. Has anyone drilled holes to mount this? The gas tank right under this mount and made of plastic, seems concerning to me..

I searched for images when people do the trap door method to get to the fuel pump. I found this image in a post, may those two brackets to the side of the trap door are the brackets you are looking for. I do not remember those on my 99.
