Default fastest youve gone in your f-body

lets keep this honest, how fast have yall gotten yalls camaro or firebird up to, as in top speed. as for me, ive had mine up to 140 so far, and thats with a 3.42 gear in the back and a A4 transmission. i was in overdrive pulling between 4500, to 5000 rpm. anouther ten sec. and i wouldve had it up to 150.

153 w/3.23's and run out of road. i was gonnna try to hold it out just to see but just not enough road. it mighta go to 155, MAAAAYYYYBE. but i've only done this once, i dont like driving (top speed) fast. just a simple drag race and let out suits me just fine.

It's hard to find a good road to scream on around here so I've only taken it up to 140.

Not really sure, the speedo stops at 155. I was in 6th gear and was too busy watching the road to check the tach. I'd guess I held out till around 165-170...wasn't climbing too fast in 6th.

Another I don't know. The speedo only reads 155, but the rpms were still climbing.

145 in both of my cars that I have had, on the same stretch of road. Could have went faster, just didn't. I plan to get my current one up to 150+ though when I get the tranny rebuilt and new clutch in......just to see how it feels.

186.4mph, this was a H/C car at the time. Got the MPH by calculating the RPM's, don't remember what they were now but I want to say somewhere between 5500-5900rpm's or so in an A4 in 4th gear with 3.23's.

Just last week, 150 and pullin hard. 434 rwhp & 407tq, 6 spd & 3.42's only a little over 5,000 rpms in 5th. Coming home from Track with bud in car. Was on I-75 over bridge where radar won't work and wall in between traffic. So any oncoming cips gotta go 2 miles to turn around. I'd be long gone. No one on road but us.
12;30 at night. Wouldn't do it with others around. Glass smooth road and ride.

I've done maybe around 130 or so, then backed off. Hitting that kind of speed on a public road is unnerving, to me at least. I was surprised though, the car was still pulling very good and definitely had quite a bit more speed left in it.

I had the camaro up to 163 but had the wife with me so I slowed down. I hit 206 mph @ 6700 rpm's in 6th on the hayabusa and could still of went to redline 13,000 rpm's but that gets a little scary.

160 (speed limiter) with 320 at the tire. Someone mentioned they were in 6th gear, was it with stock gears? Stock gears will get you over 170 in 5th, but it would take a lot more horsepower than boltons to get a car to hold a speed that high in 6th gear.

I did 155 with the t-tops off.

FYI, if you haven't had the speedlimiter tuned out, all f-bods had a speed limiter of either 160 or less.
