Speaking of noises, I had a guy at an auto parts store tell me "Sounds like you've got a misfire." ...Had me freaking out for about 2 seconds, then I said "It's got a big cam in it, maybe that's what you hear." He walked closer and said "Ah ya, that's what I'm hearing, ok." I said "Damn man, you can't mess with me like that."

After cam & exhaust i've given up on running my engine while making an order
1) i can't hear them 2) they definitely can't hear me. One girl asked if there was construction going on behind the store lol.

I haven't heard the tick, but its VERY annoying when your power steering is low and you get that awful whine. Which reminds me Im leaking fluid...

Never had brake squeaks in the TA, but my old mx6 used to all the time, it was brutal. Doesn't help that some women think your car is broken when your brakes squeal...

10 bolt rear end whine is pretty annoying...

The only place I really go to is Sonic, I come in on it a little bit with the Cut-out open and idle to a spot with it Cammin pretty hard. Usually the place is crawling with ricers so I make a little American influence present..
Every now and then there is a kid with a Mustang GT..he's got some loud exhaust on it. The first time I saw him he followed me out of there and to the nearest light..I tore him up..

I don't have any major issues with my car.. it stalls every now and then with the Cam, but it does alrite..

try buying the replacement brass gears and those only lasting a week. Best waste of $85 ever. I could have got a completely new motor for $100 on ebay. and then waited for the other one to go out and got another one off there. Freaking waste of money.

Did you follow the instructions and bend the motor tabs in on the housing?

The only thing I hate more than that ticking is the sound of the clutch rattle at the drive through. But thats fixed by holding in the clutch. Then the damn ticking again. LOL!
Anyways once you get on the street and let it rip its all good!!!!

Prior to throwing on real mufflers on the car I went through a drive thru... couldn't get my order in. Had to shut off the car lol.

Even after mufflers, I still had the tick and still had to shut off. Got obsessed with getting rid of the tick and I've nailed it down 90% with just getting the damn rockers tightened properly. It's pretty quiet now as far as tick goes, but louder compared to every car out there. I love it though. People hear my engine, take a look and wonder WTF. Then when you hear it go WOT off a ramp, that is the oh **** it's fast look.. heh

Eh, it's a push-rod motor.

I'll gladly deal w/ valve train noise any day of the week for lots of street-able horsepower.
