Here, this should help you disable your DRL

This link is great. It's the same one I've used to disable multiple DRL systems on F-bodies.

Not in my car it doesn't, I'm willing to bet that yours doesn't either. Have you tried it?

You have to turn mine off, pull the lever up enough to open the switch, then re-start it. I like having my DRL's, I just wish I could flip a switch to turn them off, not disable them all the time.

i also wish there was a switch to disable the daytime running lights. however, i got lucky with my car's color choice. the shiney silver rims, my deep maple color and dark orange lights happen to look great together

i just wish i could disable them so i could save the bulb life. i hope they're not a pain to replace when they burn out. is there a screw there? i never cared to look.

They are easy to replace, 2 access doors underneath the car are held in by 2 screws each (10mm) then you and reach right up to the bulb.

Yea, the amber lights are fairly easy to do in the firebird. A few minutes tops. A hell of alot easier to change than a camaro IMO

First time I tried to change a front blinker bulb, I thought about selling the car.

Later I realized you can pull the headlights in about 3 minutes and they are in plain view.

they are right. BUT on the f-bodies you have to do it with the car off. My '97 Blazer you can just push the parking brake and it shut's 'em off. My '00 V6 i had to have it off. kinda sucked but oh well
