difference between curb weight and gross weight??

well at the recycling depot near my house the weight of my car after dropping off junk is around 3640 lbs. I know I'm at least 225-240 lbs which puts my car's weight in the 3400 lbs range. Considering a loaded vette of the same year came in around 3100 lbs...

ya in your door panel it should say gvwr weight or something like that, that means with all seats filled with average sized people, full tank of gas, oil, windshield washer fluid, tranny fluid, just everything full.. that is gross weight,, curb weight is your car just with no passengers, but i think it is still with it filled with all fluids i think..
