Default Newbie.... Here's the plan! :)

Posted this in the "noob section" but there didn't seem to be much going on in there.... Please feel free to delete if necessary.

01-02 Z or T/A "haven't purchased yet" Has to be an A4.... Don't wanna spill my coffee in the mornings.

Would like to run CONSISTENT 11.50's or faster and still daily drive. Please tell me if you think this combo. will achieve it.

Lid/pulley/misc. free mods.
Hooker LT's/3"O/R-Y "Yet to determine cat-back"
3xxxish stall "not too terribly big"
3:73's/Girdle-Drag radials only! "gonna try to keep the stock rear alive"
228/232 .588/.592 110LSA "like the sound of this cam for what i plan to do"
918's/pushrods "of course"
NX Wet Kit "100 shot"

Will it happen?? Or is that too much to ask??

With a stall properly matched to the cam and the power the cam makes.. it will happen. Especially with the NX kit. If you find you want to go faster.. just jet bigger. No big deal. Good Luck with your build, and post up pics when you get your new ta/camaro

Hmmm...delete if necessary eh...

Nah I'll leave it! I like the fact that you tried else where. Means you attempted to put effort into it! I vote it stays!!!!

Sounds like that setup will do it. LsX's love the spray. As long as you hook and get a decent 60' I can see 11's for you my young padawan.

I think your jumping the gun a little...
I know your excited and all, I can understand that, but you don't even have the car yet.
You'll probably change your mind about the mods 100x between now and when you buy them.
Stick around on this site, read the stickies, SEARCH, ask questions.

and don't forget, the 4L60E and that stock 10bolt are the weak links in an f-body, be careful.

Good luck finding a nice car, don't rush it, don't get the first one you find.

With patience comes great reward

A 10 bolt with strong gears, a girdle, and a torque arm will last a decent amount of time as long as you're doing doing 4k launches on slicks. Crappy tires will keep your 10 bolt happy, and all the spectators as you're sitting sideways till 70

Had a 94 Z "cam,headers,100shot"
90 LX "Everything you can bolt on one, and a 100 shot" <--- fast little mother too!

I race every weekend, and do race car fabrication for a living as well. Thanks for all the info. guys, I will be a member here for a long time.

P.S. I know yall like pics, so here's some pic's of my current ride.

I would recommend driving a six speed before settling on an auto. Also, buy the car first, get used to it and then mod from there...depending on what you decide to do.
