Alright... I did it except that I got a few kinks. I really don't feel too much power gain (just a little throttle response ). Something has too be wrong because I also hear a little more noise coming out of the rear now.Could that be because of the extra weight pushed back? Anyway I notice that this also kicked up my Monsoon stereo about 17 decibals and my neighbors just LOVE IT . Well let me know if anyone else has had this problem.

I didn't have the problem you mentioned but my front sway-bar did fall off.

That and I think the mod scratched my clear coated crankshaft (TRD stock part number 63IM35AD6UM8B4A7S8S)...

you guys are all so far behind... i did this mod YEARS ago... im surprised it took a place like this so long to catch up.

whoever said about the full tune is right, it helps alot, you guys will be surprised. anyway... i have some dyno's for the skeptics. i think the results speak for themselves..... nice improvement in the power under the curve, nice peak, much bigger power band, ext.

btw... i cant give out any names, but from what i hear a few of the sponsors will be offering this mod+tune for a decent price soon.

It looks like a pretty good mod to me
How long does it take? Are there any downsides to doing this mod?

Yeah I heard about that "extra" stuff that she comes with...

Let's just say that when you go out with "her," "she" is the one driving...

...and paying for the meal...

...and let's just say make sure you bring two condoms when you get that "twin" set-up. (make sure one is the magnum size even if you don't use it )

Hey WATCH OUT!!! Poly motormounts aren't compatible with this mod. You have to pay for the forged rubber ones. You can get one from TRD, Mugen, or JDM. I think that Momo makes them too...

mod actually responds better when the motor is free to move. I used big *** rubber bands to to suspend the motor in the bay (if you loop them around the strut towers and then around a manifold/header tube it works pretty well). anyway, when the motor torques around, the spring action in the rubber bands snaps it back magnifying the torque to the wheels approximately 134.637%. This only works with the fob-mod... not sure why

Wah ha ha!!

Okay I started to do that but I am worried that the engine might scratch the underside of my carbon fiber hood that I bought for weight reduction (I had the whole thing chromed it weighs a lot less and it is blingin', though it kinda sucks to drive when the sun is out).

So what I did was buy 20 bungie cords with hooks and I put one one on each spoke of the two front wheels and then I attached them to the intake plenum, thottle body, MAF wiring, throttle wiring, and to each of the spark plugs plus the AIR and the EGR. My theory is that it should keep the engine from bouncing into the hood.

I was worried that the wheels and bungies would get tangled when the car started to moved then DUH I remembered that the car was RWD!!!

I'll take it out tomorrow just as soon as I put the chains on my front tires (it is snowing and I want as much traction as possible).
