I don't think the ZO6 and the M6 are comparable.
The ZO6 is a sports car first, luxuary car second.
The M6 is a luxuary car first, sports car second.
And their appearance/performance perfectly illustrate these facts.

Actually, I'm not particularly fond of either the CTS or the GS350 interior design.
However, the STS has a very nice interior.

and yes those cars are very quick, my friends mom has one and it can really move for a V6, the tires spin really easily...lol
i do like the looks of the maxima much better than the Impala, that is one of the few GM cars that i dont like very much, even though they do have good engines in them.

'07 Camry
3.5L V6
268 hp @ 6200 rpm
248 lb.-ft. @ 4700 rpm
'07 Maxima
3.5-liter V6
255 hp @ 6,000 rpm
252 lb-ft of torque @ 4,400 rpm
'07 Impala/Monte Carlo
5.3L V8
303hp @5600 rpm
323 lb-ft @4400 rpm
The torque difference will be VERY noticeable.

ok.. so you'd rather buy an underpowered car than a superior smaller engine making almost as much power.
thats what I'm understanding? You'd rather get worse gas mileage and a lesser engine.
you cant compare american technology to foreign..

18/27 for domestic V8
22/31 for Toyota V6
20/28 for the Nissan V6
All with auto trans.
The domestic V8 is damn good for a V8 with auto trans, compared to the competing V6 motors.
