Recommend Me A Daily Driver!
Well some of you may know, I totaled my Camaro.... still waiting to see if the frame is bent or not to see whether I'm gonna be parting it out or rebuilding it.
Anyways I'm for some reason at a loss of what to get next. My limit is about $10k and am pretty open. Don't care about mpg or maintence. Open in terms of I was possibly leaning towards something lifted like a newer or older Jeep Grand Cherokee or a lifted truck or whatever. Or car wise, I'm at a complete loss, but am real picky with my taste. Something that will be fun and get some looks driving around. So help me out and let me hear your opinions.

If you want something lifted, then a Jeep Wrangler would be awesome. I hear they can be a little rough driving everyday, but the fun factor would be kickass, and chicks dig Jeeps (atleast down here in Jawga) especially with the top and doors off. Maybe something a little more practical would be a Ford Ranger or something. My cousin has a 4X4 03 Ranger that has a small lift and it actually looks really good on that small truck, and it has all the practicality of a truck.

I would say either a T/A or Camaro, at least that way if your car is totalled out you can buy it back and put all the old parts on the new one and then part it out and make some extra cash.

I would go for the Trailblazer though, those cars are good quality.

i say get another fbody...but if you truly want a lifted vehicle...get a old body style Z71 thats under 100k miles for around 6k and put about 2-3k into 6" lift 35" tires 4.10's and have 2k saved for if something ever goes wrong.

A good DD that might get some looks? Personally, I kinda like the look of the Scion TC's. I know i'm gonna get flamed for that one. But it's cheap, looks good, gets good mileage, and toyota(or toyota based in this case) his a good reputation for low maintenance. Seriously though, I agree with most here, another F-body seems like a natural choice.

If you happen to be lookin for a 4x4, you can't go wrong with a Jeep Cherokee, or a full size Bronco. I have an OJMobile, and it's a great truck! Runs great, sturdy, and looks cool too!

^used to have a white bronco almost exactly like yours
i may be able to rebuild it so i'm staying away from any f-body's and wouldn't really want another for a daily driver

I too, totalled my 99 Z28 back in August, bought an 02 Silverado, drove it for 2500 miles, bought my Formula and sold my truck, all in 3.5 months. I didnt buy another off the bat b/c I figured it wasnt a real practical car, but I was wrong.
I bought another knowing that Im not gonna keep it show car ready. I have gotten plenty more function in 1 month out of my formula then I got out of my Z in the year I owned it. Anyway, I think you will always want another Fbody if you get a jeep. Hey, do what I did, buy a cheap Fbody, and an even cheaper DD!!!
