Just like the two quotes before me, I'd have to say its pretty much a toss up. It all depends on the skill of the driver behind the wheel.

SS has little less weight, ws6 has sligthly larger air inlet below intake, and my wife hates pop-up headlights, so i say Driver as well, but i had to get an SS. Yeah, she's the boss

its a big crap shoot. stock Z28s can be faster than optioned SSs, with stock cars its all up to the individual cars. all LS1 F bodies will be equal (the exception are the 2.73 Z28s which are slow as hell)

You can't even really state this because again it all depends on the driver. I personally watched a kid in an automatic z28 clean house on another kid in a manual z28 who was shifting like a grandma.

So I'll reword my statement for those who are skeptical.

Assuming equal options and equal drivers; I'd say the SS by slightly because of the weight difference.

The SS should be a TINY BIT! faster, but that depends on who changed their air-filter last. The WS6 looks meaner and has better seats though.

The Ram Air is elevendy times faster than the normal TA because it has Ram Air. It's faster than the SS because the hood is meaner. Same rules apply to the SS minus the hood rule.

my stock car ran a 13.2 stock with 140,000 miles on it. my friends 2.73 car ran a 14.2. he could have ran my car to a 13.2 just as easily. there isnt that much technique involved in an A4 car. there really is a HUGE diffrence in LS1s. some are dogs, some just run amazingly strong.. they say it has to do with the tooling involved in the manufacturing of the motors.

It's only like a 20 pound difference. A few options, difference in gas, or drivers weight could change that easilly.

Formula,Formula WS6, Trans Am, Z28, WS6, SS, Firehawk are all pretty much the exact same thing it would be a drivers race. They all have the same motor in them.

If I would have to say that the formula is probably the lightest v8 fbody there is.

This was my FIRST run ever in my Z!

VERY slow start so I would not spin, because I was at Orlando ‘Spin’ World. LOL

Search. Same exact car.

It will come down to the driver in a race.
