Dealership gave me an offer...
A few days ago i recived a call from the GM Pontiac dealership where i bought my 2000 t/a, and they were wondering if i wanted to trade it in, and i said no, and the asked me why not, and i explained to them why not, and they asked me about the car, and i told them it was a 2000 t/a with 13,120.3 miles on it, and over the phone the dealership offered me $10,000 more than i bought it from them, and they didnt even need to see the car, this got me very intrested so i asked for the name, and they gave me a quote over the phone w/ a ID number, and i went there yesterday with the car, and then they said $13,500 more than when i bought. Is this worth it, its 100% stock, never seen rain, snow, even a cloudy day. I am still thinking they are still Bullshitting me, but i am considering it. Would this be worth it, i bought the car for $36,***.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I bought my 2002 used and the dealer keeps calling me and offering me more for it. Bought it for around 16 and they are already at 22.
But I wish they would tell me 10 more than the brand new price. I would sell it back in a heart beat and buy me a c6

yeah even to be offered msrp would be amazing, Is your car a rare color/trans/body combo? lol when i tried to get trade in on my 99GTP i was offered 1500 and a "fabu deal" on an over-priced suv.....maybe I should consider another dealer!!

If this is true then get on it fast. But really, what would be the logic behind offering more than msrp nearly 7 years later? I sell cars and there's no way in hell we'd offer that much money for a 7 year old car especially over the phone.

Thats outrageous and also the fact that you paid 36.*** is also crazy what are some details. is it some special model or something maybe a 2000 formula i don't think they made many of those but still. maybe a blackbird or a GMMG car without the badges lol but seriously I would go there and find out maybe they just have some crazy rich guy asking for a new T/a saying they will pay anything might be your lucky day.

Damn... If it were me, I would typing a thread of how the dealership BOUGHT my car for more than what I paid for and NOT be sitting in front of a computer asking people on this site "What should I do?" Dont get me wrong man but, if this story even has one ounce of truth to it, you're a Tool for not selling.

Thats their plan, they just want to get you on the sales floor to buy a new car. Thats all salesmen EVER want is you just to visit so they can load you up with bullshit. I know, I tried selling cars for like 2 months...worse summer job i have ever attempted.
