a white ws6 drove by my job today and i was tellin this guy i work with how i want a black ws6 ls1 so he tells me they are chick cars???? so he says he thinks 75% of people driving trans ams (v8s) are chicks....i told him id start a poll on here.....

so i dont know how to do polls think someone could start one up for me? or if not just simply state if your a Male or Female so i can go down the post and show him hes wrong.....thanks

I think the TransAm is appealing to females because it is "pretty" compared to so many other cars. However, you aren't going to find many of them on this site because it is tech related. I know maybe a handful of chicks that purchased a TransAm for performance reasons. Overall, no... I don't believe it is a chick car. I think it is a universal car. It isn't like a Miata where if you see a guy driving you automatically know he is a gay!

Yea its all in who you hang out with, but i know a few chicks that drive vettes, does that make a vette a chick car? NO....now a car like the VW bettle that has a flower holder in the dash thats a chick car (and NO im not kidding they really do come with a flower holder built in the dash)

I think the only things that are true chick cars are things like miatas, solstice/sky, beetles, etc. Women might prefer a t/a to a camaro, but that doesn't make it a chick car.

see the problem here is that women dont think "chick" cars are really chick cars....most could careless about driving a sports car or something small.....they all think they need tanks....SUV's or a DURAMAX or something...i know more chicks driving heaver vehicles then my TA....

thats why certain times of the month you dont ride with a woman unless you have a death wish...theyve got a big *** truck, they drive like hell, and there chemicaly imbalanced....

Well I am a girl and I drive a Z28. When I was in the market I was originally looking for a Trans Am, but fell in love with my camaro instead. I think they are in no way chick cars. Based on the reactions I usually get, guys are excited when girls drive and LS1, because its not that common. So imo, go with the trans am if its what you like. If you see a girl in one, thats just hot, jk!
