a ford 4.6L in a mustang?....or a GM 6.0L?....THATS not a hard decision
hell i can put forged internals into my 4.3L s10....whats that going to do?
the blower is the key to the cobra, take it off it wouldnt do a damn thing...
like i said before i actually like the 03-04 cobra, its the only ford thing id drive....
even the new cobra blows *** IMO....ive seen the specs on it, ive seen the interior....its cheap and fat, like wynona judd

really. I only get one pass in and then I get the boot. I won't install a cage
since it's a street car. I have some mod plans in the works so I'm sure I'll
want to know what it can do at the track. I'll just keep getting booted.

temp wasn't ideal though, so i think there was more in any of our cars. i felt weird to see so many terminators around my goat

Im just pointing out that the track is a completely different scenario then racing on the highway/street. IMHO the GTO is a more "trackable" car dispite the tire limitations it has. Not to say that cobras arent fast down the track, ive seen plenty go REALLY fast on stock motors even, but it takes a GOOD driver to make them go really fast. MOST of the boosted GTO's out there are Automatics which have the advantage running down the track, especially with an STS kit or twin turboed. Im talkin strong consistant 9-10 second cars. just what i observed. from what ive seen at atco not just anyone can hop in a cobra and run its potential. one example my buddy has the world record C5 time in a 6 speed car of 12.66, his corba which made 427hp with an intake and catback couldnt break 12.7. Im honsetly not downing the Cobra i love the car just my observation

cobra hands down. Amazing power, big brakes, great handling, and look sick. The GTO is a great car but is out of it's league in this comparison. The way I'll some this up is, I'd be more confident at drag, auto x, road race, on the highway, and with my masculinity in a cobra.

I am not a Ford guy by any means. But between the two choices, I would have to take the S/C cobra since I have raced several GTO's and was disappointed in the way they performed with their advertised 400hp.
