04 GTO's( LS1 ) w/bolt ons probably so. 05/06 GTO's no bolt ons, just a tune 340-345rwhp.

The one thing the GTO doesn't have is a big aftermarket.

i bought my GTO for DD usage so for that its better imo.the car has descent power,mileage and rides great and is very comfortable.



theres no need to get into how easily 03 cobras make power so thats an obvious advantage as far as bolt on power goes.

Guys have taken the snake from the GT500 and modified it
to fit in there. It's actually a little too big. There needs to be
a happy medium.

was wondering what this debate was about? how they look or how they stack up in a race.... i am die hard chevy but the cobras are **** hot looking. and i would have to give the edge to the cobra in a race. gtos are good looking, but the cobra looks more agressive. they both make around the same numbers i think and its not a question, the goat is alittle chubby.

I had the chance to run a cobra a little bit ago In a state i won't say.

His plate said 500hp.I know it was sc'd because i heard the wine when he was next to me.

run 1 I saw the plate and pulled up next to him in 3rd tapped the brakes to unlock the converter and gave it just a jab to say whats up biaaatch!!!

He nailed it so i jumped into his lane because mine was blocked. We started at around 80 by 130 i was what seemed less than 6 " off his back bumper so i let off.

run 2 I moved over and his lane was full so now he was behind me.started again around 80 mph with him on my ***. ran it to the limiter in 3rd 6800 and had to lift just for a sec because my a4 refuses to do a 3-4 at w.o.t anyhow ran to 150mph i had pulled about 2 cars. or more like creep 2 car's it was real close.

If i would have sprayed him it would not have even been fun!!!

also he has vid i seen his pass with a cam but seems to not want to post it!!

What about manuel LS1, LS2 vs Cobra. Manuel does make a diffrence. I had 2 auto and lost to a cobra, my manuel now feels so strong with just headers and catback.

Terminator by far, I drive from time to time a 650 or so RWHP 5.0 Stroker KB Terminator. Its one of the few cars that would send my C5 on spray crying home to Momma. And I think what someone was saying earlier is that right off idle the GTO has more torque and throttle response. The Cobra takes just a little bit to build boost.

Full boost is instant at WOT. It's not like a centrifugal or a turbo that
takes time to build boost.
