500?? Good Jesus! The most I have gotten out of a tank was like 340. I'm pretty sure I got out of my car and gave it a hug after that. Most of the time I see 220-260 in town. Your speedometer must read really high or something.

80 mph, A/C, full weight F-body, and averaging 32+ mpg. NFW

I doubt at 60 mph, skinnies, no A/C (removed for weight), and cold dry air you could pull that off.

I just make 200 to a tank on the street. Highway would prob be 220 - 240. When I first bought my car it only had a borla cat back on it. I got about 230 on the street. After the SLP CAI, Lid, and K&N I droped to 200. More air = more power = more gas

The only way this is theoretically happening to you is if you have gears and your car is not programmed for them. In which case your speedo is off and your odometer racks up the miles faster than you actually are......other than that, Im sticking to my original post.

the most i have ever seen was 250ish. If I get 220 I am happy. The worst ever was 180 with a bad 02 sensor

i thought more air mods INCREASED gas milage. pretty much everyone who bought a cai kit like the ftra reported better gas milage....well except chocotaco for some weird reason if i remember correctly.

Maybe not BS... I get about 280 miles to a tank w/ mixed driving.....Highway only I got 410 to a tank going about 70mph....by the way my o2's only have about 8,000 miles on em so they are pretty new.....I saw 40 miles extra to a tank w/ the new o2's

More air means more fuel is being dumped......if anything it would get worse but not by too much
