anyone see the new one where the guy holds up a 10 bolt ring gear (1/2 ton truck) then he holds up the bigger one.
theres the comparison of our rear end. just think 1" smaller.

yah i still cant understand why some of the most powerful cars gm has ever built put a rear end like the ten bolt in their cars. i want to line up the gm reps for the drivetrain and slap all of them.

have you seen the commercial where they test teh 0-60 times and the 40-70 times. the tundra has to make it before these steel doors close then he has to brake before he falls off of a cliff, and he almsot does. the commercial says actual test but i cant beleive it, the driver nearly died. either way they are really hyping up this new tundra

I kinda wanna take one out and beat the living **** out of it and see how it holds up compared to the new chevy's and dodge's. I'm also wondering if Lexus is going to put out a full size truck now, like ford did with lincoln, and Caddy did with their verson of the Avalanch. That way I would get paid to go out and beat on those trucks
, the Lexus ones, if they do build them.

I work for Toyota...and one of the salesman took one of the new 5.7 Tundra on a beat run and pretty much blew it up. New motor Was going in today. Rumor has it that the price of the motor was a lil over $20k. I find that hard to believe but brand new motor limited supply could be true.

But anyway we won't know for many years to come. Mainstream full-sized Toyota trucks don't have anywhere near the market history that Ford/GM do, so long term reliability for the Toyota compared to GM/Ford remains to be seen.

I have always said...If you wanna buy japenese..move to Japan.
Now,you will get the nay sayers.."Oh..well its built in America...and I love toyota. Toyota is the best. I've got toyota hats and my wife has a toyota lower back tattoo..Toyota is #1"
So I reply" OK...so If i buy a entertainment center from Target that says Made in Chine, but I assemble it in my living room, does that make it Made in America?"
