who owns the highest mileage ls1 fbody?

My WS6 has 112K on it, which before I bouht it I thought was alot of miles. Was worried the LS1 would burn oil...and to my suprise it doesn't burn practically ANY oil. So far just basic maintenance since I bought it with 110K in February. Past owner seemed to take real good care of her.

Wow looks like 323K is the winner so far.
I thought I had it with about 235K too on my 99. I have only ever replaced 1 alternator, 1 water pump, 1 clutch, 1 fuel pump (just did). Also slowing gathering parts for 427.

I have 191,000 miles on my 2002 Formula and it still has the original motor, trans, and rear with no rebuilds. I thought I was really doing good until I seen that 230,000 and up exists rather commonly. I maintain the car with plugs, wires, oil changes, etc and it just keeps on going.

mine has 228,000 miles stock internals , orig t56 and 3.42 rear. and its been modded and raced both strip and autocross by previous owner
previous owner took fantastic care , people assume its got 30k or so when they see it. I have several other GM cars with well over 200k and all still get compliments and run as they should , its really not unusual with modern cars if its primarily highway miles
I purposely look for and buy cars with 200k + since nobody wants them you can get them cheap and they are usually nicer than cars driven around town with 70k.
My 2000z I bought for $3800 and its got recent qtp long tubes , ls6 intake , slp cold air & smoth bellows , truck coils , recent ls7/ z06 clutch upgrade including slave cyl , koni shocks ,strano springs,Hotchkis rear lateral arm , kirban shifter , raptor shift light , custom OS SD/OL ,car ran 3 passes on a cold night for previous owner all in the 11.9's, serious Alpine/CDT/JL audio system , and lots of maint items done & documented well in the year or so before I bought it....really hard to beat that type of value. I am slowly collecting components in case of failures so far got a 80k rear out of an 02 ss just incase.

I got 162,xxx right now. No smoke, no oil usage, no knocking or clattering, etc.. I just keep the oil changed every 3,000 miles. KN HP2006 and regular 10w-30 or 10w-40 in the summer. It wouldn't surprise me if it went another 100,000 miles. I don't worry much about the engine, but I wonder about electronic stuff and steering parts as the mileage goes up. Maybe i am just paranoid.
