I would stick with the ss. Why start all over agian paying for a car when you aready got a dent in the chunk you owe on that one. Also a bolt on ss can usually beat a cobra. So save that extra $100 a month or what ever extra you got and throw it towards bolt-ons. And those cars are not all that great. Its a real shame they had to supercharge a mustang to make it fast. Supercharger or not its still a Shitstain.

Umm....well considering that you can probably buy two camaro's for the price of one cobra, i'd say keep the SS and put in about 2-3k into it....you'll feel it alright....you'll feel your ***** in your stomach..

Use the extra money that would have gone to the Cobra payment and use it to mod. If you want quick bang for the buck, LS1s respond great to nitrous. Get some spray and drag radials and you'll be running 11s all day in a perfectly streetable car.

If it is only going to be a an extra 50-100 bucks a month, go with the Cobra. Then when you have an extra hundred or two get a pulley setup and you will be good to go.

I had the same thoughts. People want way too much money for the 03-04 Snake. The cheapest I found was 21K. It had all kinds of mods done to it so I'm sure it was not treated well. I found my SS for almost 14K. Very happy with it so far.

By the time you buy a cobra, you could make the ss much faster then the cobra. Its as simple as that. Keep the SS, they are a lot easier to mod then mustangs

i would say stick with the SS and mod it out. the money you would spend to buy a Cobra you could put into your SS and throw a supercharger or turbo on there. at least heads and a cam and you can hang with cobras easy. cobras are nice and sound meannnnnnn. i drove a 540RWHP one the other day and it was sick, but i love the SS so muhc more, the looks adn the fact its a Chevy. stick with the SS man!

How about you do what the rest of us poor folk do. Save every last dime you get and throw at the car. I've got about 4-5 more months of saving before i can get headers/y pipe. Once you get the car paid off then you can toss all the extra money into mods.

If you don't want to wait that long and need instant gratification, then go for the mustang and sell your SS to someone else. Then hope it doesn't hand you your *** later.

aww man you got to keep the SS I mean looking into the future you will regret it, I mean I know I would, But if you are doubting to keep the SS, like they said up top sell it to someone who really wants one, but dont drive near him in your stang, cause thats when you will regret letting the SS go........

I voted for the COBRA because I've been wanting one before I ever bought my SS. I remember wanting an SS when I was a senior in high school...then I heard about the 03 S/C COBRA and seen all these vids but at the time they were brand new and in the mid $30k...So I found my SS with 17,000 miles and I bought it for $16,000....but I still want a damn TERMINATOR! I will have one soon...but my SS will never be sold...then I'll have the best of both worlds
