I'd say just don't stay at WOT for an extended period of time. Besides that, doesn't seem like you have alot if any mods, so you shouldn't have a problem.

Look at it this way..it could be worse. I was gassing up in town at the trusty XOM and some guy in a giant extended cab 2500 grabs the green handle and pumps 35 something gallons into his truck before he realizes green pumps in the city do not necesarily mean diesel fuel. As far as I know he had to get towed.

If you can get that diesel nozzle to fit in the camaro you've got some issues.

Yeah, we had some moron up here fill the tank in the ground with diesel into the one that should have been premium. Messed up quite a few cars around here. That happened at 2 different gas stations at 2 different times. I just missed it, went to a different station than normal at the time.

you'll be fine. Our cars have 2 timing tables...high octane and low octane. It will probably retard your timing a bit but stay out of the pedal and you probably won't even notice a difference.

See, should have stayed with Chevron!

And, it's not because I work for them!!!

Seriously, though, the Techron is really good for keeping deposits down. I've seen all the research at the labs in California. Cool stuff.

I used to put a gallon per tank of deisel in my 5.0 when the motor was new. GREAT! top-end lubricant.

Yeah man I agree, there dumb ***** for that one. But like stated above just throw a octane booster in.

I'd be pissed as hell as well, I have a pcm tune done to the Z and require to run premium, so I could only imagine man. Just run the octane booster and you'll be fine.

This may be off topic, but does this guy rub anyone else the wrong way in nearly every thread he posts on? Anywho..don't need to start a war here. ON topic-Your car will be fine. Fill it back up with 91/93 and it's good as new. All I can get here is 91 unless you search for the last 2 or 3 stations that still have 93.

You're mad at Shell because you neglected to see what gas you were putting in your tank even though it's clearly labled? I think you should sue them, hell people have sued for dumber things and got a few million out of it.

octane booster you can buy from Autozone or Walmart don't do crap. I wouldn't waste your money on that stuff.

Your car is programmed to run on both 87 and 91/93. There are (2) timing tables and your PCM will pick the right one if it detects any kind of knock...SO DON'T WORRY!
