Default my ls1 vs bros ls1

It's not a race, my brother has a 02 CE T/A M6, Lm exhaust, slp induction kit (lid and duct), slp y pipe, ported/polished tb, 26,700 miles.

My car is a 01 WS6 M6, gmmg, lid, p/p tb, SSRA, 12,900 miles. His just feels faster down low, we both agree on this. Only thing I can think of is mines tighter?? My car had it's first oil change at 1300 miles, and basically every 2k since I purchased it back i nthe fall at 12,200. reg oil.

My brothers had reg 3k services with valvoline synthetic blend. Previous owner. Stock to stock his felt faster, after I put the exhaust o nthe car really woke up. It pulls hard up top. But down low his just feels better. His car barely uses any oil, mine might use a tad more nothing serious. We both run mobil 1. So does it basically boil down to his engine is looser, which produces more power?? I know 01-02 LS1s were identical, so thats my only thought

yeah, if he has headers, that would probably be the big difference there. would account for the feeling of more torque.

I don't know, the GMMG sounds great but I've heard that it's actually pretty restrictive for flow.
