is that the REAL reason yours is sitting?

ive known plenty of people who let thier cars sit for years due to a tune up and their inexperience.

I understand the madness in trying to keep miles off the car id love to be able to do that but its not possible. When i got my 89 it had 88,000 miles or so and that was in 04... that to me was a low mile 3rd gen but damn that car had some issues, and most of them were from the owner not driving the car... Props to your dad for fighting the urge.. the urge not to smoke tires whenever i want, and hear true muscle everyday is to great for me...
u can replace dry rotting... but u can't replace a 1065 mile SS

Thanks to the other complments

Very nice, tell him to hang on to it and drive it a little more. It'll be just as nice if he drives it a a few hundred miles a year on a couple of nice weekends.

And for those who say that these cars won't ever gain value, orginal 3rd gens with the TPI are climbing in value. A 20,000 mile orginal 1990 IROC with the 305, 5 speed, 1le option sold for $30,000 at auction.

Very nice low mile SS.I have 3k more miles on my WS6,so I don't drive it that often. But I think I enjoy it every bit as much as others do their own.I like knowing I have it in the garage and under a cover.I love that new car smell and the way they drive. And when the right sunny day comes along, well lets just say I feel like a kid at Christmas when I pull that cover off.

Wouldn't the gas go bad for sitting in there for so long?
