These cars are meant to be driven...all cars are meant to be driven..what other purpose do they serve?

Not everyone *needs* to drive their car every day in all sorts of weather just to enjoy it.

Put it on jackstands and save the suspension/tires. If he's storing it for the $$$ down the road, it will be worth a lot more if it has the original tires that aren't all f*cked up...
On the other hand, if somebody is afraid to put miles on a vehicle, it just looks like they don't know how to perform proper maintenance and service... just my .02

its a nice ride but a waste of money if you ask me. I never understood why people buy cars that they never want to drive. But its your money and your life so do with it what makes you happy!

If the tires are a concern, get some cheap wheels/tires to store it on. Never, ever let the suspension hang for long periods.

Just because a car sits a lot does not mean that the owner is unsure of how to perform proper maintenance. Not sure what would give you that idea. My Camaro has less miles for it's age than about 95% of the cars on this site. In my case, I'm far better about keeping on top of maintenance than most people are with their daily drivers. If you saw my maintenance routine you'd think I was crazy for being so ****.

i don't get this logic at all. so now just because someone chooses not to run up the mileage on their car it means they don't know how to take care of it?
i had a 1994 w/ 145k and a 2002 with 100k... do you think i managed to perform maintenance on those cars but at the same time was too retarded to figure out how to change the oil on my 2000 w/40k?
