I would not drive it if I were you. Not worth the risk.

Get a friend or family member that you trust. Or call a flatbed to bring it home.

I've been in a bind similar to this. Being as hard-headed (and lucky) as I am, I'd risk driving it home. If you can get a friend to drive it though, there's no reason that you should.

I say tow it. Sounds tempting, but not worth it.

I'll be dammed if I let someone else enjoy my new procharger before I did!!!

Not if you have AAA. I can't remmeber how many miles a year I get with my new upgraded account, but last year/old account I had 90 miles a year.

Just get a buddy or family member that you trust and can drive a stick, its that easy. There is NO reason to risk getting busted.

Peace,
Craig.

If you can't get a family member to drive it, flatbed it. Your insurance company should cover the cost. JMO.

Don't risk it, any other way possible is better than getting busted with only 2 weeks to go until you get your license back.

Wow I can't believe you are even asking this haha. I guess age brings wisdom...

Listen chief yer already w/o a license for *dont take this offensively* making a bad decision. Don't compound it even more.. Damn pay the 100 fugg it pay 200 or whatever to get it to your house. DO NOT let a friend drive it.. they dont pay the insurance.. they arent covered by your insurance.. they wreck it.. and yer double fugged. You cant even get to the scene and try to pretend you were driving it.

Just get it towed back.. and wait your two weeks.

Why not just leave it at the shop for a couple weeks? They wouldn't do that for you after spending all the cash with em?

Don't drive! You might get away with it but then you will start thinking that you can drive it again, then again, then BUSTED!! Be smart. Two weeks will pass and you are free again.

If the car is insured with a decent company, they will pay. Only time it might be an issue is if the driver lives at the same address as you and isn't listed on your policy, then they think you're keeping them off the policy to keep your rate lower but they still have constant access to the car and likely drive it regularly. This is what I've heard my agent tell me before.

If it's a one shot deal where you need to have someone else drive the car, that's a different story. What do you think would happen if you were trying to sell the car and someone crashed it on a test drive? It would take a real shady insurance outfit to deny you coverage in a case like that.

$100 is nothing compared to losing your DL for even longer, IMO.

I don't know what your situation is like, but I have a bunch of local friends with some crazy fast cars that I would trust to drive it home for me (with me in the car). So I don't see what the problem is.

Yes if you are in the car, then AAA and your insurance can probbly find some way to cover it etc.. I know for a fact AAA will cover you.. regardless if its your car o another car as long as you are in the car.

As for insurance I think they will still cover your car if you are in it. BUT if you are not in your car and its wrecked by someoen not on the policy.. most insurances will not cover it.. Unless you report it stolen etc.

State farm bud of mine was going over this for someone who was on house arrest lawl. I kinda overheard some of it.. but I also might have it wrong. Shrugs but in his situation I thought it best to leave out that bit haha.

You don't have to be in the car to get it towed by AAA. About 3-1/2 years ago when my SS was down, tow truck was late and I had to go to work, so a buddy of mine stayed at my house waiting for AAA to show up. He handled AAA and got it loaded up to go to MTI.

I also used AAA to get into my co-workers cars when they locked their keys in them.

Peace,
Craig.
