Theres that bar that goes across the steering wheel, and a good alarm is always good, but I would just make sure to have insurance for what you have into the car, I mean its better to be saft then sorry

I've oftened wondered if you could use a line lock when you park the car and instead of a button release, connect the wires to a lock cylinder? One more layer of protection.Anyone try this ?

^^^ My dad was telling me a few weeks back how one of his friends did that back in the day. I think Im going to do the same. Just hide the button somewhere. Nobody will know whats going on. Especially when the alarm is going off.

at home it's in the garage with the door down always, and at work it's in a garage on video
my alarm is a Viper Responder 5900 that's good up to a mile away. it has a little screen on the remote that will actually show you what sensor went off. it beeps and vibrates.
granted, it's not a guarantee, but it is good insurance that they'd move on to an easier target. and if not, that's why i have full coverage insurance

You could install a master cutoff switch... The one with the big, red "T" handle that you can take with you. Install a kill switch for the fuel pump and ignition source... Or you could just mount an empty gunrack.... Oh, wait, you live in California... Can't have guns or rational thought.... I'd just move...J/K

Gun laws are strict though, but oh well. It's not like I can afford a fully automatic machine gun or a .50 cal anyway.
