lol Some good replies. I can relate to most of them. JB, you nailed it on the head. You cant afford a daily driver and a buy the vette, so keep the ws6 and work on it. Thats pretty much exactly what im going to do. I'll add a c6 to my garage down the road, but it will just have to wait. So long as my car doesnt keep giving me a headache. lol

I've got both, the Camaro is a M6 and the Vette is a A4. I mistakenly bought the auto so I wouldn't be tempted to mod it. My Camaro has been down for the last 6 months for a 408, with any kind of luck it'll be back on the road in 3-4 weeks. I like both cars but in different ways. I think the Camaro is my favorite, however that may be because it is much faster and a M6.

I've been a long time fbody person. Early this year I sold my SS (which I had bought new in 2000) to buy a C5 Z06. I was attached to that car... it was a super hard decision, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

If you don't think going from an fbod to a vette is an upgrade, you need to have your head checked. The cars aren't even comparable.

I don't regret it at all. I love the C6. It's a completely different beast.

Yeah I do miss my Camaro and wish I would have been able to keep it and buy the Vette. Especially since the car was totalled after I sold it.

My biggest con with the Vette is the price of mods.

All in all, I would do it all over again. I really love this car.

i will speak my mind about this also. i am a technician @ my local dealership. i have owned my SS for over 3 years (i'll be 21 in a few weeks...we've got some memories ), driven a LOT of them also. today i worked on/drove a c6 z06 (07' with 1700 miles on her) its probably the sportiest/nicest/fastest/comfortable/COMPLETE car i've ever driven (not just this one, i've driven a couple). i also worked on/drove a c6 with a 6 speed & targa top. it is a very nice car as well. the c6's are much more refined then the c5's were. better...well everything.

there really is no real comparison between the mentioned cars. different styles, comforts, purposes all around. i don't know if i would sell my SS to get a vette but i would def. have a c6 to drive from time to time

Putting it up for sale isn't the hard part Just wait until you're watching someone drive off with it.

I sold my T/A last year, and I don’t miss it much as a street car. I love driving the Vette, I find it more comfortable, handles better, and I also feel more rewarded in modding it, or driving around town.

I do want another Fbody to strip down and turn into an all out no holds bared drag car, so I'm not saying I don’t like them; I simply see them good in different ways. I foresee myself adding another Fbody in the next year, but NOT to replace the Vette.

I came from a Cobra to a C5 and don't regret it at all. Sometimes I miss the Cobra because of the fact that I knew the damn car so well but the Vette is so much more car than I am a driver!

And this is why you should NEVER take your car to a dealership to get worked on. Even fellow LSx owners will rag on your car.
