I know the Monte Carlos of the mid '80s had t-tops.

I enjoy my t-tops, but rarely get an occasion to take them off because I am a pus and basically drive my car a whole 10 miles round trip to work and back.

I did enjoy my Z/28 because it was a hardtop with very few options and I liked having a little less weight. That being said, I don't think I would ever buy another F-body without t-tops.

'Verts can be cool, but they are definitely NOT for me.

T Tops are sick, I take them off every chance I get. Plus I never run the AC since the tops are always off unless it's raining or something. It's awesome just cruising around with the wind blowing through those tops!

Every time the sun comes out. Even in February if it gets above 50 degrees. I have not experienced any wear and tear by taking them off often.

Yep, the Monte Carlos of that era were G-bodies (before returning as a W-body in the '90s), and they did have a T-top option just like the Cutlass, 442, Grand National, etc. I assume that t-tops were offered on Grand Prix as well in that era (as it was also a G-body) but I can't recall ever seeing one.

My first Camaro was a hardtop and i didnt really care about ttops when i bought my Z, now that i have them i absolutely love them!!! Its like having a convertible without all the annoyances. Wish i had the hardtop now though since the car is turning into more of a drag car, oh well

Two cars that I liked as a kid were Camaro/Firebird's, and Nissan 300ZX's. Both came with t-tops.

Since it barely rains here in the summer, I've had mine off non-stop.
