Hardtops FTMFW!

Actually I got my car to race, and I just like the hardtops look better. But my mom had a t-top 02 Camaro, and it was fun to cruise open topped when I borrowed it!

Hardtops aren't rare.

I absoutely LOVE my T's and I have them off about 70% of my driving time. Long trips are enjoyable with them off, ahhhhhhh. Even if I am running small errands, I will take my drivers side one off when i am at a stop light and put it in my back seat! I am addicted to them, and I dont know what I would do without them! They are so bad *** and so unique.

Well if you want to have T's to enjoy, then put them in! There shouldnt be a doubt in your mind really, if thats what you really want. You gotta do what you enjoy in life and enjoy your car to its fullest! Plus you can keep your old hard top stored in a nice place, so you can change it back ever if you think it is rare. Ya thre arent many hard tops out there, but who wants one anyways???? I think these cars are bad *** in general, and i really dont think that the "rarity" of the hard top will ever made a difference, unless you like your hardtop a lot or something. I think you should change them for sure, unless you yourself have a feeling about keeping it "rare" , but it seems like other people tell you that and that you want the t tops, so put them on!(which in my opinion i honeslty wouldnt categorize a hardtop as rare, yeah there arent as many of them, but my idea of rare is an all original numbers matching 1969 yenko camaro, now thats rare)

I agree. Just do what you want to the car and enjoy it. These cars aren't going to last forever no matter how well we take care of them.

T-tops were one of the main factors I looked at when looking at f-bodies. I don't know why, I guess because it was like, it's an option so I'll get it. I honestly don't use them as much as I should, but I do like them a lot. It's a great cross for people who aren't into verts, like myself. I'm a girl and I always hear from others that they hate the t-tops b/c it messes up their hair...it's really not that big of a deal IMO. I use them from time to time but if it's really hot out, I'm one to crank the AC. On nice days, or nights, nothing beats t-tops.

your all right, with a little fabrication the hardtop can go back in. im not saying its rare like in the same catagory as a 69 yenko, but rare like a ***** in church. you just dont see it everyday.

bww3588,

Your car looks great with the new wheels man. I love the MTM with silver ZR1 look. Sharp.

thanks RPM. i thought about the chrome ones, but thought it would look too flashy or out of place on a green car. if you click my sig pic, there are a ton of other pics i took of her after we went shoe shopping.

t tops are great man, best of both worlds and i think they look a lot better than a vert(just my opinion not bashing)...now only if the f bods could have the vet roof...i think that looks a bit nicer but im not complainin!

Yeah I already checked out your other pics. Looks great.

I agree about the chrome on green thing. For some reason, when it comes to green and dark blue, I like silver wheels the best.

Great choice.

One thing Camaro's failed on badly. many had black tops and side towers. Looks way better painted.

I disagree completely. That's one thing I love about the V8 Camaros, the all black roof regardless of body color.

When I owned my Trans Am, I had always wished that it had an all black roof as well.

i have to disagree.....the sail pannel and roof top is what sets V8's from six bangers. honestly, i dont know why i like it that way, its totally different from the norm, but i do. i mean, if any other car had a black roof, i would
