why do my brake lights come on when i race?

Default why do my brake lights come on when i race?

how come when i race my back brake lights come on as if im braking?

my friends tell me it randomly happens, not all the time but sometimes. I know im not hitting the brakes so ...idk what it can be

because your so fast you dont even realise your braking at the finish line.. lol j/k but sounds like a loose wire connection that could be hitting whenever your giving it that certain amount of power.

haha cuz they'll slow down thinking theres a cop ahead but yet ill keep pulling..

My car does the same thing. It happens when my tires are spinning like on the 1-2 shift and off the line. My car doesnt have traction control so i know thats not it but it only does it when im spinning.

When I had my GTP, I raced an LT1 Camaro and on the video you can see it happen on his car too. Very odd indeed.

Lots of these cars do that. See it all the time. No loose connections.

Its usually on the 1-2 shift, the car slows so fast during the shift the inertia pushes the brake pedal just slightly. Just depends on how jerky the shift is.

mine does the same thing. the announcer at the track even makes fun of me saying "my times would be better if i didnt hit my brakes"

i am not sure why this happens...but my bro's car was doing the same thing...but it turned out that he WAS actually hitting the brakes for a short time when he shifted...it was his shoes..now he wears different shoes while racing and problem solved...

i had the same problem.....its because of my big *** feet. i wear different shoes everytime i drive my trans am and now its dosent do it anymore
