+1 on the mudflaps and $14k sounds about right.
For reference, I paid $15.5k for 2002 CAMARO Z28 M6, 35k miles, Fully loaded, leather, etc. AND 1 owner clean cafax, new tires, PERFECT CONDITION, but it had the stock wheels, so for yours, since it is an auto w/ the 2.73's, it will fetch a lil bit less than a 6 speed and I would pay 14k for it....

i would pay more for his stock Z28 than your modded Z.....90% of the time a stock car will sell quicker and bring in more cash than a modded car

When in my search for cars I saw some where the mods really brought down the value of the car, IMO. For example cars with racing stripes, radical lowering springs, nitrous, heavy wheels, flowmaster exhaust, etc.
On a side note there was someone local who bought a used bolt-on LT1 Trans Am. Car sounded badass, ran great, etc. About a year later however the engine blew because the previous owner was using lots of nitrous. Just something to think about in terms of modded vs. stock. I know it's an extreme case, but it can happen.
I would make exceptions though. Recently I talked to someone who bought a 1999 White Hardtop A4 Camaro Z28. It had a built TH-400, 12-bolt rearend, camshaft, Patriot cylinder heads, valvetrain upgrades, Borla exhaust, LT headers, subframe connectors, full suspension, bolt-ons, etc. The car was built for racing and the seller was very honest. Granted the car had 106k on it, but he got it for $9900. I think it was a steal seeing as the car had a new rearend, transmission, top end, full exhaust, full suspension, etc. Basically everything except a bottom end. The interior and paint were also in great condition. Looked as good as my 1999 Black Hardtop M6 Camaro Z28 with 56k on it. Just something else to think about.
In general, however, I wouldn't buy a modded car for the reasons explained above.

People beat stock cars just as hard as modded ones, but generally I agree with the above. My car is a steal, but since it is set up the way I want it, it may not appeal to every potential buyer. Worst case, sell your mods and return the car to stock, then sell it.
