a fox 'stang and run 8's for the price of a used LS1. What's that
prove? Nothing. There must be a lot of broke people here. All I
ever see if people crying about the price of cars. People act like
they are trying to buy a Ferarri or something. $50K for a car is nothing
these days. Comparing a new vehicle to one that's 10 years old is
ridiculous.

I don't think you buy a special ed. car thinking you are going to beat everything you come across. Its more about exclusivity.
If you drop $50k on a car, you aren't concerned if a Pinto whips your *** in a race. If you were concerned about how quick your car was based on what you paid for it, you would certainly do your homework AND you would buy your car based on that criteria.
I'm guessing this guy (in the video) liked the Mustang, had the cash for the 427R, and went with it. 10000:1 odds say he didn't go home and sell it after this race. Ask the guy in the Mustang or F-bod if they went home and cried and sold their car when the tricked out import handed them their ***...

I have raced people and flat out killed them in races and they get so upset they want to fight. this one guy I sorta knew through people( luckly I was not racing him) got this used vette with some money his dead uncle or aunt left him and went racing, anyway long story short this bone stock f-body beat him and he went nuts and hit the f-body at the end of the race with the vette.

It's especially rediculous that the 10 year old bolt on technology beats the brand new, supercharged technology. :-D
