I know what hes going through. Luckily I could keep all of mine. The Firehawk actually gets the most attention when crusing. The GTO is good on long trips, and the Z06 is for when you need that additional addrenaline rush.

Buyers remorse/guilt. That's the way I felt for a couple of weeks when I picked up my C5 a month ago. I was able to pay for it outright but I still feel a little guilty. And then I had to go and throw an intake and exhaust on it already (more $$). But boy this car is sweet. I hate to say it but the poor Z28 is going to get less and less attention. I really should sell it (the Z) but... 
. I hate to mention this but another thing to consider with the Corvette is Total Cost of Ownership. Everything cost more on this thing. Aftermarket parts (Corvette tax), service, etc. Mine has low miles (15k) so I'm not worried right now but all this fancy engineering could cost me one day.

i just posted this on another thread not five minutes ago. i was going to buy that EXACT car (01 red Z06 with the red/black interior combo) but no. i bought the car in my sig and im glad i did. i like it better than those. its all opinion.

So what did you end up doing with the car? I know how you feel about the buyer's remorse. I had my 99 TA up for sale and went and picked up my 98 C5 and drove it home from OK. As soon as I pulled up and parked it next to the TA I regreted what I just did. I had to sell the TA and drove the C5 for about 5 months before I went and bought the white TA.

i can see why everyone is bashing but seriously...they are two completly different cars. its all personal preference. for me, id rather have a top end f-body than a z06. i like the look of the f-body more, after market parts are less expensive, maintenance is less expensive, it can hold 4 people, and it has a solid rear axle. if you dont like it, try to break even on it and keep youre ta. thats what id do at least.

i test drove a 07 z06 b4 buying my ws6, i fell in love with the ws6 and didnt care much for the z06. i think the car is just too tight, it looks killer but i fell like andre the giant in a clown car. the 427 lsx is nice though =X

Nice car dude, i think you should just keep it. Now that you know you can't give it back just keep it for alittle while and If you really don't like it that much sell it and keep the TA.

have driven 3 c5's...prefer my t/a for numerous reasons--vette is quicker..but i see them all the time...every province, every stae..even in EUROPE..never saw a WS6 in ENG,FRANCE,GERMANY,HOLLAND,SPAIN,ETC....

One: Why on earth are you not swapping stuff from the T/A to the Z06, and vice versa.? Solves some of your modded Z06 problems and you're still gonna get close to the same money out the T/A.
Two: Did you weigh your options and budget the new payment, big payment i assume? If so, then hang on, stick with it, and either Try and sell it yourself, or Drive the wheels off of it and stop feeling guilty...Cause it's a SWEET RIDE ! ! !
