I beat a lot of modded Cobra's when I was cam only with a little Tr224. But the TSP cams.......Well, let's just say I don't have much to say for them.
Are you an A4 or M6?
Driver's race with a M6.

Stock S/C cobras are slow and get beat by bolt-on ls1s all day long. The 03-04 cobras arent the supercars everyone makes them out to be, in all honesty they are waayyy too heavy and non-aero dynamic to hang with similar powered f-bods. Good luck finding a stock one though, unless its a girls car and maybe not even then.

Thats very true!
I spanked a stock Vert 03 Cobra from a dig, with the mods in my sig im sure had he knew how to launch that beast he would have raped me. He quickly asked for a roll race, and pulled me by about 3-4 cars...so i agree with the fact that those cars are a bit difficult to drive...

2.) His car weighs about 200 pounds less than a stock Terminator, maybe less. If it's a loaded-out Trans Am he's probably weighing in at 3450-3500 pounds. Terminators weigh about 3650. I always laugh when F-body owners bitch about how heavy the Cobras are, when their cars aren't much lighter...
3.) Stock Cobras are far from slow. They run mid-high 12s and trap about 110 MPH. That is equal with bolt-on LS1 cars.
4.) '03+ Cobras aren't supercars, but what they can accomplish (with a completely stock engine, no less) is pretty damn amazing. They're fast cars and with the ease of throwing on a twin-screw blower, they're real easy to get into the low 11s/high 10s.
Please, know what you're talking about before you post. I mean, you did type the line that's in my signature right now, so you're obviously clueless...

i appreciate all the advice and to answer all the people's questions who asked me why i just dont throw a bottle of nitrous on it......is b/c i've heard that there's no better way to burn up a engine than to use nitrous.....b/c u got to have the whole engine built with parts to hold up to the stress it puts on the engine......then again someone told me that a 100 shot wouldnt hurt the car at all.

2002 manual firebird formula or trans/am 3500 lbs
SVT cobra coupe: 3665 lbs
these posts are useless, debate or not, there's no real way to know unless you race. traction is a big thing to get past with any high HP car. and on the street or even the track anything can happen, some people can't drive, some people can. that's just how it is.

Just to clear a few things up, the words "stock" and "Cobra" should never be in the same sentence anymore. There's no such thing.
But when Cobra's where "stock", there's been a few that have put down over 390RWHP (average is 370-380). Cobra's being underrated from the factory is true.
You would lose to a pullied Cobra. But there's still are a few intake/cat back Cobra's left that you could test your luck with.
