From what I understand, the ls1 and ls2 manifold are very similar from a performance standpoint. If you are going to be swapping manifolds, the ls6 is better than the ls1 or ls2. Even better than those is the 90mm FAST but it requires a different throttle body.

quite a bit between the LS6 and 2. there's a whole thread on this in the bolt on section and i think it may be a sticky. seriously though you're better off getting the LS6 and it's only 300 bucks. it's been proven better then even the performance ones really, only thing they got on the 6 is that they are aluminum or a strong material that can handle naws

Could the ls2 boys swap to an ls6 intake and see any gains?

your probably better off going with a ls6 manifold or even the FAST

i have a bbk ss1 series on mine and it seems to work great. It has power gains that out do the ls6 but is also made of aluminum, which may cause it to get heat soaked

If i recall, the ls2 requires a 90mm TB as well, And i heard it's a step up from a stock LS6, but step down from FAST

By the time you buy adapter o-rings for the injectors, a 90mm tb, make a throttle cable bracket(ls2's are drive by wire) and run a different fuel rail, and still make the same power as an ls1 intake.... you might as well have bought a FAST.
