Default WTF??? are you serious???

dunno if anyone has posted this before, was trying to show my buddy what a HOSS looked like and this.....thing! popped up on google imgaes, i just cant believe some one would spend the time.money to do this to such a pretty car.

Looks like a kit that just replaces the rear hatch, can be easily removed.

I think theres a thread floating around here about that car. I believe that car is in Europe. I think a company out there sells the kits. Dont quote me, but I think thats what I read.

From what I remember reading, some country had a high import tax on sports cars, so this company importing Camaros temporarily converted them into trucks to get around the tax.

You hit there! Thats exactly the reason why they were converted into "trucks", once the car got through all the paper work and inspection, it would be converted back into a regular camaro, it would still loose the rear seats and retain the bed but would have a regular hatch as any camaro and LOOK as a regular camaro.
