there's a pretty good post about this
You know you drive an F-Body when you have someone else drive you're car well you sit in the trunk to see where all the noises are coming from

I have this issue also. It almost sounds like it's something inside the rear passenger side axle that lightly flopping around. I don't know what it is, but I've read other threads that seem to imply that this problem is common. Most replies I've seen indicate that it's not really anything to worry about.
To my knowledge, no one's ever been able to determine exactly what's causing the knocking sounds (which aren't loud and sound kind of hollow). If someone knows... please post what it is so that maybe we can come up with a fix 'cause it can be annoying.
For background... I purchased my '00 WS6 with 29K miles on it and it was making the noise when I bought it. I've since put installed LCAs, a PHB, and SFCs. The noise is still there.

Did you check the not so normal small suspension things such as ball joints and tie rods? perhaps there is a bolt or two coming loose. Just telling you this is not going to help you, go spend some time on your car, have some one drive it, lift it off the ground, shake a few things to see if you can find it.

does anyone else here think that maybe he bent a pushrod. when i bent mine it sounded like it was comming from the passenger door but the sound was just bouncing and misleaded me. check to see if the pushrods are straight
