put in a fram air hog air filter today
as the title says i got rid of the paper filter and put in my fram air hog. i actaully think i can feel a difference. anyone else notice this?? or is it because i been driving my 7500lb diesel pickup?

The most a K&N filter netted in a magazine test a few years ago was 2-3 hp. If you can feel that, then you have one super-sensitive behind I would assume that most aftermarket filters would fall under this category.

hey Y2K the blue and yellow bird TA looks great but photochop the other on and ditch the silverado or maybe not put it so close and that would be one bad *** sig

you know what, i have a k&n filter in mine. when i first got it the filter was black, with dirt all over it. all i did was slam it into the ground and a pile of dirt came out, i felt a reasonable amount of power from this

For what it's worth, the blue & orange 'bird was done in Illustrator (not photoshop). I change my sigs a lot, so don't worry.

to the op, no I did not notice a different when I put in my air filter, it might be psychological j/k

ya i took out my k&n and put a stocker paper element filter in.
it was cheaper and faster than cleaning my previous owner oil SOAKED k&n
maybe ill clean it soon and throw it back in.
bah, prolly not.
in my book a filter is a filter
a different air filter is not going to win a race.
unless the old one was packed with dirt.
