since i bougth the car.. one of the things i've always planed doing was to get some nice hood, and, something else then the SS hood everyone got,

i've having a hard time trying to choice what hood i realy want, išve narrowed it down to, oldschool cowl 2", sunoco hood, or the harwood hood,

few days ago, i was surpisingly pumpin gas to my camaro.. and when i was walking to the car agen and watch the front of it.. for the first time i thougth that the flat Z28 hood just looked good, and when i picked my buddy up to show him my new wheels he also said.. "i wouldnt change the hood"

so.. no i realy dont know what i want

does someone else like the oem hood here?

or does it maybe just fits my car well?

 

In all honsety, I really like the stock Camaro hood. BUT i think red is the color that makes that hood jump out the most.

 

I personally only like the stock hood with some ground effects. I REALLY like the look of a cowl hood on a Z28 though.

the cowl hood is ******* nasty i love it. i saw one at my work the other day on a silver z, i work at a chevy dealership btw.

 

I dont like the stock hood on ls cars.

 

Sunoco looks better on ls1 camaros.

 

I agree and also think they look better than the LT style.

 

i'm a sucker for the ss hood and cowl hoods...not a huge fan of the stock z28 hood.

 

i like the SS hood. but the flat hood looks good on your car, probably cuz its black

Try being a 'bird guy and liking the flat hood....it's rough let me tell you.

Someone on here once said that a Camaro with a WS-6 hood is like a chick with a weiner.

Stick with the stocker or put the SS hood on there (i love that thing).

 

I really like my stock LS1 Z28 hood. In fact, I wish someone made a lightweight fiberglass/composite/carbon FLAT hood, but we know that will NEVER happen.
If I had to choose an aftermarket hood, I guess it would be the Sunoco. But I only think that they look good with ALL of the rest of the Sunoco car's bodywork.

I always like the flat hood on LT1 cars, not LS1 cars.

 

Sunoco or SS on Camaros and a WS6/9 for Firebirds

 

stock hood looks good(keeps it more of a sleeper) and the SS one is a little more aggressive and mean looking like its going to rip a nut sack off, o yeah THULE for gods sake change builded 346 to built 346 in your sig

 

on a black car with black wheels i think a flat hood with the ss spoiler is the best combo, raptor hood is the best bird hood imo
