Default Car in a shop for mods

For those of you who had a performance shop do your cam swap, how long was your car in the shop? I am going to be getting a cam swap fairly soon and I can't be car-less for too long.

Best thing is to call, it all varies. If there not busy maybe a day, if they are crazy busy maybe a week. All depends on who and whats being done.

usually shops will want the weekend to do it. Ask if you can drop it off on a friday and pick it up monday. It usually takes a few days if they are a reputable good shop. Good luck!

tr224, LT's, ORY, ls6 intake, injectors, level 2 trans, 3500 stall, dyno tune. No heads (yet), what do yall think about that set-up? I'm not sure what the shop is going to charge for it, any of yall have a guess on the price?

A **** ton of money. You should have them do the cam and trans, you can do the rest easily. Come on injectors? That cant be that hard. Headers take about 7 hours.

If your having all that done at once it's gonna take way more than a few days. For all that I would just drop out the engine and trans as the work will go faster and the trans has to come out anyway. .
