The Insurance Company gave me $18K for my LS1!!
So I was rear ended and my car was totaled...Thank you Allstate for giving me so much. I still cant believe 18K. I only paid 12K for the car in the first place. It was just a plain 2001 A4 trans am. No Ws6 or anything.

I found this 01 firehawk, another ls1 on the way soon.
After getting your car totaled, how much did you get for it?

They( harolds body shop) told me that they ordered all new parts, but then they stripped it down more and found more damage and that they wanted to replace the entire back clip. I didnt want them too, and also something about the insurance company didnt support it.blah blah blah.
im getting the check at the end of the week/beginning of next they said.
Im just glad they gave me that much. I can get a 2001 slp firehawk with 59,xxx miles for less than $15K.
and the other 3K pays for a year of insurance.

first off you guys have to understand that insurance companies dont go off Kelley Blue book. They go off "fair market value", meaning that they look at your surrounding area for cars for sale or just sold cars at dealerships, that are like kind and quality. That is how they come up with the price. 51xxx miles is still under what the average for that car should have on it. I got 19.9K after a 1K deductable when I blew a right front tire on my 02 M6 Z28 just over a year ago. and my car had 48xxx miles.
Congrats on not having to hassle with the insurance company, some of them will really beat around the bush before they give you a fair price for the car.
good luck with the new car too.
