I know this.

I have a prefect record, no tickets @ 22

And I still get quoted 1400$ per 6mo.

So I added my Jeep to the policy, and the total for the two is 800/6mo

You decide.

i got al kinda bad bad bad stuff on my driving record...we wont get specific
im a lil older now but pay 71.00 a month for full coverage w/ towing and rental car ect, basicall all the extras

it pays to shop around, actually i filled out some insurance quote thing on the internet and the next day had like 4 dozen emails and had 20+ phone calls from ins agants. yes it was annoying but i went from paying 205 a month to 120 a month for 2 days work and some headaches

well worth it
by the way im w/ nationwide, been w/ them almost 2 years and its steadily dropped since ive been driving like normal people. like i said 120 to 71 a month in less then 2 yrs w/ them.

im with geico, 18 years old, and pay only $109/month, but its bare minimum insurance. I would have to pay about $250/mon for full coverage

Are you under your parents insurance? If so have your mom or dad be listed as the primary driver. Some insurance companies will do this, but others make the youngest driver the primary on the sports/most expensive car. I would try progressive or germania. If you decide to go with progressive make sure you take pics of everything on your car. They are GREAT about screwing their clients on anything/everything.

That's low for laibility. I think mine was like 70/mo. Can't remember. I'm 26. Now, mine's 70 mo for "full" coverage (by "full," I mean none; $2,500 deductable with no exceptions).

Hehe yeah! I got a quote from USAA for my R1, I'm 27, no tickets, no accidents, 8 Grand a year! I laughed at the chick and told her the bike only cost me 11. Just deal with it man you are young and in a high risk category. Nothing is gonna help until you hit 25. The best thing I can recommend is to have your parents insure the car under there insurance with uninsured motorist and you will be covered. Other than that you're SOL.

Anyone else catch the irony? (chuckles)

Insurance will bend you over at a young age, no if ands or buts..

I look back in my highschool days and every single ls1 F-body owner I knew wrecked theirs, minus myself.. We had fun though =]

I don't know if this has been said or not, but the best thing to do it go through your parents if possible. I'm 19 also and have my Z28 insured under my dad's name and I'm listed as a primary driver on his 1972 Ford truck and then I just pay him for the insurance on my car. That works the best if your family has a better car and your parents have a pretty good driving history.

I am 19 and am under my parents insurance policy and pay 544 every 6 months just for liability...its not worth paying alot for my 93 z28. It also teaches me how to be a safe driver.

Ahh ok. I'm on the parent's insurance policy but the only car I have is the camaro. That would do it.
