About a year and a half ago I got rear-ended while stopped, and the world lost another SOM WS6.
Still drivable, the insurance company totaled it, both rear frame rails crushed....here's the pictures......

Sorry to hear about your WS6! I hope you get what you're looking for out of a Supra or C5. I would think that the next logical step after an f-body would be the C5, but maybe that's just me.

ya that sucks. Just so you know, the airbag module/sensor is right under the center console and not in the front of the car so your bags could have went off. Im curious to see it. ever since i sold my ta i been wanting to buy another one. If this makes it to an insurance auction im gonna be watchin it. put some pics up if you could.

The damage I have is not anywhere near that, sorry to hear about your car. My car almost has the same dent by the gas filler though. Plus there used to be about a half inch or so between my Hotchkis STB and the cowl, but last I saw in the ditch they were touching. My car was also not drivable, both tires on the driver side were blown and and axle was pushed over.

The idea has also crossed my mind that I might buy it back if it's totaled, get it fixed, and put the rest of the money back into the car for parts

Just have to play this by ear, it might be a hard decision.

my 2000 Silverado has a Salvage title(got hit in the passenger door and rocker) and i still have full on it
but the one guy that showed the rear ended one. You can section frame rails
and they aren't any less rigid and strong then they are when they aren't fixed if it's done right. I would have saved that thing, especially a LAST OF THE BREED edition.~Cole~
