"Check gages" light?

Well yeah, guess the question is more like "if the light comes on will I be able to make it to the gas station 5 miles down the road" lol

I don't like running down to E anyway, still haven't figured out the accuracy of my gauge yet.

Oh, and GM can't spell.

i always wondered that the first time i bought mine, but easy to figure out looking at the gas gauge... but thats interesting, i know my fill ups are usually 14.5 gallons or so, whats the max capacity on a 99 z28?

The light on my Camaro and my girl's T/A comes on when it his E, I don't think it has anything to do with capacity. (anyone who owns a GM knows how accurate the fuel gauges are when you start getting miles on em)

Gas tank should hold ~ 16 gallons

Yea it comes in handy. I actually use that cupholder more than the other one b/c im an M6 and it gets in the way when i use the other one

"gage" is just a variant of "gauge." (so sayeth mirriamwebster.com)

"Gage" does seem to be GM's preferred spelling- my old 1988 t/a service manual spelled it that way, too.
