with you being lighter from a stop itll be close with equal drivers.

ive had alot of fun ragging on those cars on other boards and listening to ford boys defend this overweight and overpriced tank.

(HP of Mustang / Wt of Mustang) * Wt of your car = power you need (roughly roughly roughly).

Equal driving abilities, you lose. Dig or roll. Unless its from a dig and your on DR's , you might get him.

You might as well try to get him before he starts modding. Those blown stangs add some serious ponies quick.

Dont be afraid to lose, its the best motivation.

I ran a stock one a while back before I put the pulley on. We went from a 55 on the freeway at night to 120 I could only muster up about 2.5 cars on him
and those 2.5 came after 80. There good runnin cars with descent driver behind the wheel.

thanks guys! alot of mixed reviews!!! if it happens from a dig you best believe im gonna be on some DR's. I have a set of 18x9.5 and 18x11 c5 z06 wheels that need some tires ordered in the next week or so and im def going 315 bfg's in the rear. And hes not a car enthusiast so im sure hell pop the clutch and be all over the place, cant wait to see his face when i do a good 20 sec burnout to warm em up!!! lol. I think ill add the juice but not use it right away and see how close it is on the freeway n/a, then.... if its close ill spray and put a couple bus lengths on him.

anyone have a direct port kit they wanna sell..... =]

But anyways, if the thing is stock, then probably not that much. With their conservative tune and defective airbox, they aren't that fast. I think low 12s from factory. With just a CAI and redoing a/f ratio, you are probably talking 450whp or so. A good head/cam setup should easily get you within a few links. I haven't seen one of them run yet, although I did see a GT with a gt500 drive train run 11s(would have probably been 10s but spun like a bitch) with just a pulley in april. Maybe you can get them top end. I know Ford isn't known as having super great top end, so a roll race might net you a better chance...

I could believe that. You probably put down 390whp or so? It probably wasn't pullied, but that doesn't matter. Your car is probably pretty darn fast anyways...

^^^^dont they run 12.9 bone stock, i dont see how full bolt on's and slicks can improve et's by a full 2 seconds unless it was pullied and had some weight reduction

A pulley is a bolt-on...
